June in Arizona

This year, we were lucky enough to spend most of June either on the road or at Camp Nebraska. But before we left, and after we returned home, we were able to do some fun things...

Like... date night on the cheap.

Grilled corn on the cob in our newly revised outdoor space (Beer Garden).

Gus finally decided that swimming wasn't so awful after all. He now gets in somewhat on his own when we are outside swimming.

Whipped cream and berries for dessert in special bowls from Gigi.

Mommy spent a lot of time organizing, packing and unpacking in June.

The kids rediscovered Play-Doh (this is pancakes and cookies).

And as luck would have it, the night before we were to depart for our grand road trip, Eloise spiked a fever of 104.

After what felt like a lifetime at Camp Nebraska, we were back home and the first full day back, the kids entertained themselves by turning the couch into a car and playing Road Trip.

They rediscovered the old fashioned game of Dress-Up.

We went to the City pool with our neighbors and the kids had so much fun that one of them passed out in mommy and daddy's bed almost immediately after we got out of the shower back at the house.

The girls had summertime underpants parties with matching Monday panties.

And they spent lots of time reading on their new rugs from Aunt Holly.
