September 2016, in summary

Eloise discovered her love of mommy's shoes. Mommy discovered she can never find her shoes.

Eloise's curls got curlier and now she sports "crazy hair" like a champ.

Natalie started wearing sunglasses more often and looks more and more grown up everyday.

While daddy was out of town, we had Happy Meals and lots of sillies.

Eloise continued to love all things baby...

Despite how excited she looks, she hated this cookie.

Natalie continued to rock Kindergarten and became a most excellent errand partner (the large bear in the photo at Costco stayed at Costco).

 It cooled off enough for Gus to go back to the dog park. First day back at the gym is always tough.

Love of books and reading grew...

 Games were played...

 And fun times were had by all.

Finally.... our new kitchen table

After months and months and months and months, we found someone to build our custom (not kustom) hickory kitchen table. Turns out, he lives about 6 houses down and did a more perfect job than we ever could have expected.

The day he delivered it, mommy almost cried. It was exactly as she pictured it but even better. It was absolutely perfect.

Natalie starts soccer!

Natalie wanted to play soccer, so we switched from karate to soccer with the change in weather. Once it begins to warm up again, we'll go back to karate (if she wants to). So she's on a team of 7 with kids under 6. Two girls.

Natalie is the one playing with her hair.

Just because you play soccer doesn't mean you shouldn't accessorize your socks and outfit.

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

The girls were so excited to celebrate daddy turning 40 this year. We made him a very special cake to help him celebrate. And he had a little helper to help with blowing out the candles, just in case.

And then a few nights later, we had a get together at a local brewery with friends, old and new.
